President
Felecia “Cookie” Edmunds, was an All- American track star at Southern Illinois University. She competed in the 100-meter and 400-meter hurdles. After graduating college, Cookie decided to follow her passion and enter the world of education. She started her teaching career in Miami, Florida just before relocating to Danville, Virginia. Felecia has over 30 years of experience in the education field, and over 40 years of creating meaningful programs and events. She currently holds a Master’s Degree of Education, while currently working on her Doctorate. Felecia is responsible for the creation of GLH Johnson and Right Touch Christian Church’s Black History Program. She co-facilitates many community engagements, all while continuing to be an anchor at GLH Johnson Elementary school. Cookie’s core values include God, family, and impact. She currently serves on three community boards, the president of My Brother's Keeper Foundation Inc., while being a member of Delta Sigma Theta and The Links Incorporated. Cookie is a well-respected Community Leader, wife, and mom who has a passion for serving others.
Vice-President
Ferrell Edmunds Jr., was an All-ACC tight end at the University of Maryland, and a 7-year NFL veteran. He played tight end for the Miami Dolphins (Pro Bowls in 1989 and 1990) and Seattle Seahawks. After retiring from the NFL, Ferrell and Cookie married and started raising the 3EBoyz. Ferrell started coaching in the Pittsylvania County Youth League in the early 2000s. Ferrell became the Head Coach of the Dan River High School Wildcats in 2008 and officially retired in 2017. He remains the winningest coach in Dan River High School history, which earned him a spot in the school’s Hall of Fame. He now does Real Estate investing; however, most of his time is spent in the community of Danville, Virginia volunteering and doing philanthropic work. He continues to oversee all projects of My Brother’s Keeper Foundation, Inc. while helping his three sons reach all their goals.
